The General Secretary of the ministry of Agriculture and the Breeding, Mr. Mohamed El Moustapha Ould Abdi received on Wednesday in Nouakchott, a delegation of the World Bank, led by Mr. Ba Ahmed Oumar, main specialist in agricultural services in the representation of the Bank in Nouakchott.
This meeting was centred on the possibility of financing of a project concerning the support of the development of the breeding in Mauritania.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the General Secretary of the ministry indicated that the visit of the delegation of the World Bank coincided with the revision of the strategy of the sector and insisted on the importance of the breeding in the state economy.
For his part, the leader of the delegation of the World Bank expressed the availability of his institution to accompany the work of development in Mauritania and reminded certain projects in the financing in which participated the World Bank, such as the project of breeding II.
The meeting took place in the presence of the director of the breeding, of the director of the national center of veterinarian searches, of the general manager of the national power plant of supply it intrants of breeding and the coordinator of the project of pastures and development of the animal wealth.
