Culture An exhibition of photographs in Nouakchott  
The Spanish Embassy in Nouakchott organized Tuesday in Nouakchott, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Communication, a photo exhibition of Spanish artist Marie Saint Alberto, under the theme "What I think?" On this occasion, the Minister of Culture and Communication, Mr. Mohamed Ould Amar said that Spanish art is one of the most famous modern world.

 

He presented the history of the Spanish school of art through "Goya" and "Picasso" author of the famous "Gornica" of the 20th century. He then stressed the importance of the work of artist Alberto Marie Saint in the development of styles of art integrating the different modes of expression and artistic techniques through a combination of styles. The minister added that this exhibition will contribute to enriching the artistic creation of Mauritanian artists through the real image of the development of modern art. Meanwhile, SEM. Alejandro Polanco Matta, Spanish ambassador to Mauritania stressed the need for cultural communication between the creators of both countries and clarified that it will at the invitation of artists and creators Spanish in Mauritania.

 

He also recalled that the Embassy of Spain harbour today, a panel discussion on art. For its part, the Spanish artist said his work exhibited is the result of an artistic process two years she spent in Nouadhibou, where she worked in the public health sector. She added that the exhibition aims to create an area of contact between the artist and his work, between the person and his idea through a series of photos taken in different cities like Paris, Venice, Manchester, Nouadhibou and Rosso.

 

The opening ceremony took place in the presence of the Minister responsible for the Advancement of Women, Children and Families, the secretary general of the Ministry of Culture and Communication and some members of the diplomatic corps accredited Mauritania.
