Support, parliamentarians political parties and people of the State council  
Some Mauritanian parliamentary in a meeting held on Wednesday evening expressed "their support for the movement led by the national army, August 6, 2008", calling this movement to become "the benefit of democracy, to strengthen the work of state institutions and preserve the constitution ".

These parliamentarians have called "the Mauritanian people to gather around the parliament and political forces for change and preservation of public order," saying sorry situation that led the country because of policy unexpectedly led by the deposed president, political marked by blocking the action of constitutional institutions, the exercise of personal power, without regard for the majority or the method of consultation which was based on our nascent democracy. "

The Parliamentary have also announced they will organize tomorrow morning at 11 am in Nouakchott a march of support demonstration that starts from the airport to go to the Mercure hotel, then to the presidential palace.

In addition, the Party gathering of Democratic Forces (RFD) said he had recorded "the change and has called on all national political forces and people of good will to initiate a national dialogue responsible, sincere and serious for a swift return to a normal constitutional life, the preservation of the country against any slippage or dangers that threaten its national unity, state institutions and their sustainability. "

For its part, the coordination committee of what is known as

"Group for the Defence of Democracy" welcomed "the burst of national sincere conducted today by the armed forces in ending the regime of Mr. Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi ould Cheikh which has deviated from the democratic path".
